The Room
Within

Woollahra Gallery, Sydney, 2024

The Room Within invites audiences to a surrealist meditation, exploring the intricacies of self-discovery and our profound connection to nature. Botanical elements, soft furnishings and gestural illustration components combine with 3D prints, sculpted timber paintings and a soundscape, transforming the gallery space into a luxurious and unexpected sanctuary. Rooted in design principles and a marriage of art and technology, Missy’s practice inspires curiosity and encourages others to embrace the power of observation and mindfulness.

One must strain off what was personal and accidental in all these impressions and so reach the pure fluid, the essential oil of truth.
